Evening all ❀️

Im blogging from my garden on this gorgeous summers evening here in Merseyside.

I’ve not blogged much this week I’ve been busy inbetween work and home life.

Tonight’s blog post isn’t about the outstanding artist called David Bowie unfortunately.

Its about finding your unique self in a world that expects you to be mediocre.

This is coming from someone who’s always tried to fit in and in time finding out that it only ever makes everyone else happy but not yourself.

None of us where made in perfect form.

We all have faults, dark desires and talents that we are too scared to share with the world.

It all comes down to confidence and being worried about what others will think if you show your true self.

In the past I’ve allowed fear to show a untrue side of my personality to someone who was very special to me all down to fear of letting them in.

That side of me wasn’t good and it ended up pushing them away.

And at this time in my life everything was messy more messy than what i would like to admit but it Brought a side out of me that wasn’t very nice.

And i pay for that everyday.

I didn’t have the confidence to be myself because i felt i wouldn’t be what they expected me to be.

Trying to hard to be perfect ended up showing a different side to me.

Only if i had shown the geeky, silly side, fun side to myself then outcome may have been different.

One thing i learnt from it all was it’s ok to show your true self your good, bad and ugly days.

No one is perfect all the time and anyone who expects you to be is on another planet..

Being unique is the most beautiful thing because why would you want to follow other’s.

We aren’t born to be sheep.

Doesn’t matter we shouldn’t judge each other.

I know it’s not always easy to be happy in our own skin but confidence takes time to build and be happy in our own skin.

But it’s important to love yourself and show your true self to others.

Being confident doesn’t mean your vain it means that you have your ducks in a row all you need to do now is Just add a little bit of sass and stardust to your own soul and show yourself love.

Love you all.
