Apologies for the lack of blogging but life’s been a little upside down lately.
Have you ever had that feeling of a. Weight being lifted from you it’s like seeing blue skies after a very dark storm.
This is where Im at now I’ve been through the worst of if and I’m finally realising that I deserve to put my own needs first.
Trouble is I give more out than I ever receive then I end up burning myself out in the process.
Its OK to put myself first it’s OK to say no.
Focusing on yourself is extremely important, growth is extremely important.
Moving on is important leaving the past behind is essential.
You can’t change what’s happened.
But you can learn from the experience and use it in your future.
I’ve literally grown so far away from who I used to be at times I’m unrecognisable even to myself.
But as one door shuts another is waiting to open.
Something better and more for filling.
I’ve always been held back and too scared to be myself in fear of what other people think.
But that’s not me any more.
I’m not perfect I don’t look amazing all time, I’m not always happy, I get annoyed & like to be left alone sometimes.
But that’s just me.
But I’ve realised it’s time to move on I’m ready to move on and work on the life I deserve.
My heart will always be happy helping people but I have to remind myself that I need to also help myself.
Today was a great day I purchased my first ever size 12/14 pj’s I’m so overwhelmed I’ve not been a size 12 since high school.
I’m also exited to be working with Acti Labs Super excited I will be posting another blog along with details soon but their products are my absolute favourite that’s why I have taken a leap of faith and I’ve chosen to work alongside them.
You will be able to purchase direct from me but again I’ll put all details on another blog post for you all.
Thank you so much for all your support and love I’m so grateful.
I haven’t published any late night blogs for a while.
I’ve been busy with life and a few things have changed for me.As life progresses we expect a lot of change, we have to expect change otherwise there will be no forward movement.
You find that where you are just isn’t enough anymore.
For me it isn’t my location it’s my actual life I’ve not been happy for a while and I’ve realised that if I keep going round on this hamster wheel I may never get off, it’s only certain aspects of my life I find I’m feeling a little stuck and undervalued.
So I’ve had to put plans in motion for change.
You can’t grow if you stay in the shade.
I’ve taken many risks in my younger years and many haven’t worked out but it was a massive learning curve for me.
Being a mum, someone’s daughter, sister and friend sometimes isn’t easy.
And to be honest I know I’ve been hard work at times.
I don’t answer phone calls, messages for days on end just way I am I live in my own little space sometimes it all gets a little to much.
Don’t get me wrong I’m a strange person I like love but also crave my own space, I can’t stand constant communication or talking all the time.
I get easily irritated by forced conversations and will withdraw and zone out if put in a position I don’t feel comfortable in.
I like people but only small group of people they will tend to be long term friendships I will only forge new friendships If I really want to.
I will literally help anyone anyway I can within reason.
But alot of people can’t take to me and my personality.
I used to let that affect the way I saw myself but now I don’t care I just let people think what they want to think.
They say when you stop pleasing others and start pleasing yourself that’s when life really takes flight.
That’s the truth your vibe will attract the right type of people to your life and repel the wrong type of people because that’s when you are truly aligned with yourself.
Now I don’t rely on anyone but myself .
I’m making things happen for myself and I will do whatever it takes to get to my own happiness.
I’m half way through writing my own book.
My blog is doing amazing
I have new opportunities all the time.
But I know down the line I will have to take more leaps of faith to see where it guides me but now I have my own back I will achieve anything.
So here we go have you ever felt so far of the beaten track that you see no way back to happiness.
I have and its very difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The frustration and the hopelessness of keep continually going round and round in that hamster wheel with no way off.
I’m going to highlight 10 ways to help get your happy on these are tried and tested theories by yours truly ..
Listen to music…
Music is the key to your soul i find listening to music helps identify all the emotions you cant find the words to say out loud.
I love the fact that you can just put on that one song that can either transform you mood or bring back happy memories.
I create my own playlists depending on my mood i find it really does help.
Keeping active plays a very important role not only for the body but also for the mind.
Go out and explore take a walk in nature allow yourself to be taken away from everyday life.
Take yourself out of the four walls even the moderate exercise can make a whole lot do difference.
Read a book
Getting lost in a good book creates happiness because for a short while you forget about everything your whole life transforms into one moment that’s right in front of you.
Being still in peace and quiet give you time to rest and allow yourself to be still it’s a fabulous place to be when it’s
Be greatful for what and who you have in your life.
Sometimes we get so caught up in the bad we loose sight of what’s good and important for us.
Having the right love and support around us can make us richer than any money could ever make us.
Creating your own happiness and sharing with the people closest too you is one of the most wonderful experiences anyone can have.
To find something you are passionate about and just to keep going with it if it’s creative, sports or something you simply just enjoy doing if you find happiness then that itself is worth more than gold its great to have something you can find peace within.
And also feel passionate about.
Keep a journal
This one I can 100% relate too I’ve said in previous article’s that blogging has been my life saver.
If your like me and can’t find the words to say face to face putting pen to paper is the way forward.
Write about what makes you happy and what makes you greatful in life send your postive thoughts to the universe and watch your abundance return.
Always trust your own intuition.
When it comes to your happiness make sure your are the one who pulls all the strings don’t do something to make someone else happy and leave yourself feeling deflated and defeated.
It’s right to be mindful of others but don’t forget to put your own needs first.
If something feels odd it will more than likely to have negative outcome.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
The world may be a depressing state of affairs, especially when you listen to negative people and the media. If you want to see a change in the world and have happiness back in your life, then start changing your own beliefs and attitude. It’s when you change that you can become what you want to see in the world. If you are more loving, then you will experience that more within your daily life. If you want more happiness then be happy, if you want more money then give money—the list is endless!
So, what ways can you have happiness back in your life when the outside world appears to be so depressing?
Smile and Laugh Often
Try not to take life too seriously. I know that ‘seriousness’ is required in some circumstances, but if you continually treat life as a struggle or as something painful then it will continue to be that way. Let your true self come out by remembering what it was like as a child to be carefree, to laugh, to smile and to play regularly. If you can learn to bring more play into your life and the lives of those you love, you’ll see that life no longer has to be depressing or sad. Just because the rest of the world is like that doesn’t mean you have to follow suit!
Do something for someone else.
A lot of what has happened in the world to make it depressing has happened because we have forgotten to love and forgotten to give. To get the happiness back in your life, it might be time to start looking at how much giving you actually do.
When someone asks you to do something for them, how do you react? Are you resentful, offhand or plain rude? If you have answered “yes” to any of those, then perhaps it’s time to re-think how you are to those you love.
Giving does not have to be about money, it can just be giving back time, or helping someone move, or lending a loved one a book. It can be anything. I’ve always felt that if you aren’t giving then you aren’t living because that’s what life is all about!
Todays post i have decided after much thought to add premium content to blog , ive been asked by a lot of my follows why my blog posts are free.
I simply didn’t think my blog was that popular to start asking for a subscription .
But after much thought and talking to a lot of people about my work I’ve decided its time to progress.
I will still be doing the normal articles but the more advanced subjects now will be subscription only.
Please understand That i put hours and hours into my work and it also uses up a lot of my free time but because i am so passionate about my work and sharing my thoughts i have given my time very freely to help others.
And now its time for me to gain a little back for the effort I’ve put in.
I hope you can all understand the choices I’ve made for my own progression.

Hello and happy Friday here from lovely sunny Merseyside.
I hope you are all ok whatever you have planned for today i really hope you have a wonderful day.
I’ve just finished my morning workout and i felt inspired to blog so here i am coffee at the ready.
If your hoping for juicy gossip going from my blog title unfortunately I’m not allowed to tell all at the moment that’s for another article when i’m ready to share but admit its caught your attention hasn’t it .
I wanted to connect to all my fellow bloggers or newbies that are just starting out.
To give insight into how ive progressed with my blog and what’s helped me along the way.
I’m going to start of by saying welcome to your own special place on the internet where you can completely be yourself , yes you heard that correctly you can be yourself.
One thing i have learnt from blogging is that its perfectly fine to express yourself but use your experience’s and your words constructively.
Depending on what type of blogger you see yourself as people tend to stick to relatively the same category i.e fashion , travel , reviews etc.
With me i prefer to just be a lifestyle blogger i can pick and choose from a wide range of subjects that i can create article’s from and hopefully my readers can engage and relate to them .
Trying to find your niche can be tough but once you have the hang of it , its pretty much straight forward.
Remember that blogging can be a form of therapy to, it’s worked better for me than any therapist has.
Its your experience’s that really connects with your readers being completely open helps you engage better with your blogging community to.
Ive been blogging since April 2019 and at first my reach to my readers was relatively slow but after a few months the number of readers started to get higher and higher.
Ive never been fantastic at English or spelling as I’ve openly admitted in previous posts but who cares that’s what spell check is for right…
When i first started my blog i was going through a very bad time in my personal life with no outlet to get all my emotions out but i used my blog to constructively express myself trying my hardest to leave certain experiences out of my blog due to legal obligations .
So why did i choose a name I hear you all say rather than just call my blog by my own name well its because mine is a brand not just Stacie.
And Stacie is pretty boring just kidding.
Call it my alter ego…
Seashells and Lipgloss comes from my two favourite things and it also links my location within my blog.
Seashells because i live by the seaside and I love it and lipgloss because who doesn’t love lipgloss and the fact i don’t go anywhere with out it.
Fits perfectly for me lets get with how this article can help you find your way in the blogging network .
Coming up with great tagline titles really does help i sometimes use song lyrics , quotes or my own depending on what subject I’m blogging about and if it’s a article , poetry or product review.
Deciding if your going to be completely truthful or to try curve your words to fit to your audience.
I choose to be my authentic self I’m very vocal in my every day life i always state if its an over 18 post because i feel its important to give people a heads up if they choose not to engage that’s fine not everyone likes cussing .
Using gifs oh how i love a gif who doesn’t i love using them i’m well known for using them to as my other blogging platform community tells me #fashionpotluck.
There catchy i love them.
Using your own pictures is always a must especially if your advertsing a product being authentic is important and don’t be afraid to blog as many times as you like a day its your blog.
I try to blog at least once a day to try and keep my viewers interested but someone times life takes over and your not able to so don’t worry if you can’t blog everyday.
Coming to the end of my article I want you to all know that if you write a blog and its important to you then it really doesn’t matter what other peoples views are its your thoughts you send out to the universe and out on your blog.
People are not forced to engage they choose to by their own free will.
So just write your heart out and remember each experience makes us stronger.
If you have any questions please comment below ❤️👇
Firstly I’ve been wanting to blog about this subject for a while now.
It’s all about how the more you give to people the more they take from you.
It doesn’t always mean materialistic items.
But it’s more your time, energy and emotion.
You see im a kind person i love to help others empower others.
But there are some people out there who are like emotional vampires.
They will suck the happiness right out of you.
I want to share a few steps this evening on how to spot an emotional vampire and how to deal with them.
Here we go…
1. The I’m never happy for you person.
These types of people have most annoying personality traits.
They are very rarely happy or show any enthusiasm towards anything positive about a situation or have personal goals
They are simply stuck in a state of negative thought patterns.
Never talk to these types of people about your future goals because their negativity then becomes your insecurity.
2. The Debbie downer.
I apologise to anyone called debbie im sure your not all this way..
This is a nick name i call people that are always in a state of despair.
The slightest incident sends them tumbling over the edge.
You can ask them how was your day and you get everything good the bad and the ugly before you know it your feeling rubbish and low yourself.
I avoid people like this because you will never win over this type of person only thing you will do is drain your own energy as they don’t take advice.
3. Its all me, me, me and me somemore.
Have you ever been in a situation or conversation where it’s all one sided.
So frustrating you cannot seem to get a word in edgeways.
When they finally let you speak but the conversation then reverts back to them it a massive no no to me..
A connection means equal parts give and take and respecting the other people’s experiences.
Without judgement or reverting back to oneself.
4. Moan, moan moan.
As they say if you don’t have nothing nice to say don’t say nothing at all.
We all like a good moan but for god sake that’s all some people do.
I’ve literally not got the time or the patience for people who just moan but never do anything to change the situation.
If you don’t like where you are then move your not a tree.
5.The mr loverman.
This one’s for us ladies that fella who thinks he’s fell off thors golden cloud and hit every unemotional, noncommittal tree on the way down.
The one’s that play with our hearts themselves and other women in the process are very emotionally draining creatures never under any circumstances try and get this type of man to try and commit because he won’t.
Trust me i know that’s ten years of my life i will never get back.
Im not saying people don’t have issues in life i understand fully that people go through very tough times but balance is needed in life between light and dark.
But you need to learn in life how to recharge your soul and to try and avoid situations that can be mentally and physically draining for your own soul.
Sometimes best possible outcome is to remove yourself from the situation and refrain from future contact.
It’s easier said than done but it can be done.
Don’t give someone your power or let them take over your soul.
The less you react to their emotions and negativity the less power they get from your reaction.
This evening i wanted to do a little blog post about supporting small businesses.
This is something i feel really strongly about. When you support a small bussiness your not only helping their bussiness grow but your supporting someones goals and talents in life.
And with the support of each other we can do great things.
Tonights bussiness is owned by a lovely lady i stumbled across on Instagram i completely fell I love with her gorgeous accessories she makes from home.
I absolutely love the name to.
Sam’s business is not only quirky but also quite eye-catching.
Sams presentation, product and packaging is immaculate.
Shipping time and communication throughout the whole transaction to delivery was very impressive.
What draws me to head band babe and what thrives me to give my support to this lovely lady and her fantastic business is her compassion and her eye for detail.
She’s very down to earth and knows how to connect to people through her work she is truly fabulous and very talented.
Here is a little bit about Samantha and head bands babes journey so far.
I’m Samantha the creator of Head Band Babe. It all started as an isolation activity to keep my mind healthy during lockdown.
One day I decided to YouTube how to sew a head band. From there I had sewn about a 100 head bands and scrunchies completely by hand.
I used kindly sourced fabrics and repurposed elastic as my aim is to waste less and produce thoughtful products. I then decided my first goal would be to buy a sewing machine, with the help of wonderful customers, friends and family, I was able to do so.
I have been blown away by all of this, what started from twitching fingers has blossomed into something I’m so very proud of.
I’m just a mum, juggling all the norms and sewing in my free time from my kitchen table whilst family chaos surrounds me.
But if anything this has all taught me I can achieve anything, as long as I go for it!
But, you also just need days in your PJs eating cake, snuggled with your family on the sofa.
Samantha’s passionate she’s determined and with a bit of support and a whole lot of spirit i honestly feel head band babe will go far.
Here are my lovely items i purchased from head band babe and i will be purchasing more soon…
By supporting a small bussiness your supporting a dream i ask you to show your support to Samantha and her lovely bussiness head band babe…
