The Importance Of Being A Brand Ambassador

Hello Everyone

I hope your doing well we are half way through a four week lockdown in the U.K and businesses and the economy have taken a huge hit from covid19.

November and December months are always a busy time for retailers and small businesses , run up to Christmas can be financially beneficial to any company doesn’t matter how big or small all custom is greatly appreciated.

Let me explain to my readers why its so important for me to support brands and small businesses.

Being an brand ambassador to me is very important but first I need to talk about a few of the good and bad experiences I’ve had whist building a business blog profile.

Its in my nature to help I’m a Virgo so I’m extremely passionate about helping others grow.

I try and see the best in people for me being a brand ambassador is very important because I’m so passionate about showing the love to other people who are just trying to get somewhere in life.

So what is a brand ambassador?

A brand ambassador is a person who is hired by an organization or company to represent a brand in a positive light, and by doing so, help to increase brand awareness and sales.

The brand ambassador is meant to embody the corporate identity in appearance, demeanor, values and ethics.

The key element of brand ambassadors is their ability to use promotional strategies that will strengthen the customer-product-service relationship and influence a large audience to buy and consume more.

It all sounds very business like but what people need to see is that one simple share to any business it doesn’t matter if its a small or big business can have a positive affect .

Here are a few good points of mine about being a brand ambassador.

  1. You get to work with amazing companies and share the love.
  2. You build a good working relationship’s with companies.
  3. You get to purchase items at an ambassador discount rate.
  4. You get to showcase the items on your social media accounts.

I haven’t always had good experience’s with a few companies that made contact with me via my social media.

All I can advise anyone is to do you research before proceeding with an ambassador agreement i have been scammed a few times but on an important note it’s made me more aware of this issue.

Don’t let my bad experience with some companies put you off all the genuine companies that would love your support out there.

At the moment I support a few companies my most recent is

I’ve been working with this lovely company for a few weeks and I received my item yesterday I have to say its an absolutely beautiful piece of jewellery, I’m so happy to be working alongside Luna & Whale.

On ambassador note Luna & whales communication is precise and clear which is very important to me.

On a customer’s note I was fully impressed with my purchase and I can’t wait to showcase more gorgeous pieces.

Here is Luna&Whales Chintya bracelet it’s absolutely gorgeous it’s so pretty.

Home Hair Colouring Hints And Tips

Do any of you get bored of you’re hair colours very quickly…

If so you are very much like me I get so bored of being the same all the time , It doesn’t matter how many times you reinvent yourself as long as your happy that all that matters.

So I swapped my shadow root black and red hair to split coloured hair this weekend , Ive been wanting to do for a while and because I’m a bit impulsive and different i hate looking the same just to fit in with society.

So I don’t really listen to other peoples opinion’s as I live my life the way I want to live it.

Home Hair colouring can send shockwaves of anxiety through your body , so many questions surrounding home haircolouring but ive decided to do this blog to try and ease your worries.

I must add i have had training and passed both in hair & beauty level 2 & 3.

So please be aware I am familiar with the science behind hair products.

I must state that if your going to colour your own hair please follow the guidelines on the the product you purchase regarding patch testing before going ahead with the full head colouring .

Select your best shade

To find your best shade at the store, eye those close to your current one.

Boxed dyes are usually displayed in colour order on a shelf, Hold a section of your hair up to a box to find a close match, then choose from the next two shades on either side.

You don’t want to run out of dye halfway through the process.

Make sure you purchase enough product

If your hair is shoulder length or longer, you may need two boxes to cover your whole head, depending on hair thickness.

If you end up with a leftover box, you can always save it for next time or return it.

Do not mix Hair colours of different shades

Unless you’re a professional, combining multiple different shades of hair colour is not recommended (ever!).

None of the major companies would guarantee that the resulting colour would be a predictable combination.

In fact, even when you stick with a single colour, the result usually varies slightly from what’s pictured on the box.

Your best bet is to simply pick one shade and follow the instructions to the letter, strand test included.

Always follow strand and skin test procedures

Though bypassing it is tempting, the strand test is key, especially
when trying a new shade.

Colour a few trimmed or hidden hairs
first, then look at the result before you commit.

A common horror story from testers who didn’t do this hair that turned orange and purple or green.

Having the right tools to do the task at hand.

Set up your tools on the counter before you begin.

Read through the included instructions before you jump in.

That way, you’ll be clear on the steps and won’t have to stop mid-process, which could lead to mistakes like leaving the dye on too long or missing areas.

Always Apply Colour to dry hair

Hair colour experts (and hair colour packaging directions) recommend dyeing your hair when it is dry.

When hair is saturated with water, the dye may not take to the hair strands or become diluted, producing an undesirable result.

You should begin applying hair dye at the roots.

Always apply to the roots first

Because they are where regrowth occurs first and the least damaged part of hair, they need the most colour and processing time.

Let the hair colour develop for the amount of time indicated on packaging directions. Then comb it through the rest of your hair to distribute it evenly and avoid a two-tone effect.

Look in two mirror’s

Colouring the back of your head can be tricky.

Use a double mirrors to check the back of your head in the bathroom mirror as you colour so you won’t miss spots.

Get rid of unwanted dye spills before they stain your skin.

To sweep away any dye splatters as they happen so they don’t have a chance to set, have facial cleansing wipes on hand or a simply baby wipe will do.

Choosing new colour hair products

No shampoo is totally colour-safe, since all shampooing requires wetting hair β€” and water itself strips dye “Though sulphate-free shampoos are thought to slow down colour loss, our tests have found that they don’t always perform significantly better than those with sulphate’s.

Extend your shade’s life with a shampoo or conditioner designed specifically for colour-treated hair ,Look for terminology such as β€œcolour protect,” β€œcolour-preserving” or β€œfor colour” on packaging. They’re less likely to strip away added colour (which other products may), so your new shade lasts longer.

Some find it easier to just go to the salon and leave it to the expert’s but for me I like to do my own hair because I know exactly what I want and from experience not all salons will give you your desired outcome.

But please know I do have previous experience within the hairdressing industry to perform more complex hair colouring technique’s on my own hair.

Here is my new colour below ….

Good evening everyone…

I hope your all doing well.

It’s review time and I know a few of you all have been waiting for this one.

Tonight I will be reviewing the famous give me argan oil & coconut oil hair mask.

You might have seen the give me range literally everywhere all over your social media its becoming one of the most popular brands at the moment it also has many celebrities also reviewing their products.

I’m going to give you a short update on my own hair pre lock down I was jet black I promised myself when I hit my two stone weight goal that I would go red and that’s what I did..

Just a little Disclaimer…

Please know that I’ve had many years experience and training in hairdressing so I completely trust what I’m doing to my own hair.

But for any of you who don’t have training please seek advice and services from a professional.

I can’t strongly suggest that enough to you.

So after pre lightning my hair ready for my bright red semi permanent colour to be applied.

I kind of fried parts of my hair and my split ends where terrible due to the pre lighter so I went out brought several hair masks to help get my hair condition back to normality.

I always stick to certain products but I was at the point where of I would try literally anything to get my hair back to being silky and smooth before the pre lighting.

I has seen this product all over my news feeds on all social media platforms.

I had watched celebrities say how much they loved the products.

I have to be honest I did think well you can purchase similar products on the High Street so what makes this product special?

Well it’s my second time I’ve used it and all I have to say is wow.

I’m not kidding you it’s the best hair mask I’ve ever purchased and applied to my hair.

And I’ve used alot of products in the past with all the colour and damage I’ve caused my hair over the years.

Here is a little bit more about the product itself.

Give Me’s Hair Mask blends natural Argan Oil and Coconut Oil to help provide that smooth & silky feel. The scent, condition and elasticity experienced after use will leave you wanting more and more!

Benefits

  • Moisturises & Revitalises Dry Damaged Hair
  • Smoothes and Repairs
  • Deep Conditioning
  • Salon Finish

Directions

Apply Hair Mask on towel-dried hair and gently massage onto the scalp from the roots to the tips. Allow it to remain on hair for 10-15 minutes. Subsequently, rinse thoroughly with water. Suitable for all Hair types. Use as and when you require.

100ml for multiple use depending on hair type.

Honestly it’s amazing I don’t think I will use any other hair mask now except for this amazing product.

It really does give you salon finish hair at home.

The smell is gorgeous too which is a massive bonus for me it’s also leaves your hair feeling clean and non greasy afterwards unlike some hair masks on the market.

Afternoon everyone.

I wanted to share a blog with you all this afternoon about my mental issues and my weight loss.

I know quite a few people that would benefit from this blog post so I decided to share my thoughts and experiences surrounding the Mental affects of loosing weight and how I’ve been dealing with it.

I hope whoever reads my blog will find it helpful.

Isn’t it just fabulous when you loose weight.

In just over seven months I’ve managed to loose three and a half stone on the exante diet.

I couldn’t be any happier I’ve actually achieved something and most importantly have actually stuck to a diet by the third week I’ve normally given up but no I was determined to do it so I have.

I’ve had the odd blip along the way but that’s normally when I’m under stress and I have to say won’t give my Sunday dinners or the odd gin up for no one that’s my weekly treat.

One thing I’ve had issues with is clothes and my mental health.

I haven’t had a problem purchasing clothes at times I’ve thought oh lord somebody take my bank card off me.

But what I’ve have had issues with is the mental side of loosing weight.

My whole style has changed because I no longer feel that I need to cover up every part of my body.

Or look in the mirror and hate the way I see myself.

One of the issues I’ve had is when I’ve been shopping online I’ve been automatically looking at my original pre weightloss size it happens everytime I still forget even now.

It’s so nice to to say I can’t purchase that as its not in a plus size range.

Not that I’m being biased about other ranges.

But after so long of liking clothing that I would feel silly in due to my size.

I can now shop anywhere and know I will find something I will like in my new size and feel amazing in the style and colours of my choice.

Instead of looking like a member of the adams family.

Now I don’t have to feel that way any more but again your mind can have a negative impact on your desired outcome if you let it.

I popped out today to a bit of essential and non essential shopping.

Its been a while since I’ve set foot in a proper clothing store other than primark.

So I decided to go into newlook my local store in town hasn’t got a plus size range but I’ve always gone for the biggest size they stock.

Looking through the clothing racks not touching anything was hard expecially when you’re trying to work out sizes.

But needs must my brain was saying to me you need biggest size they have.

I actually stood their for a while thinking what the hell am I doing I don’t need the biggest size anymore.

Put my normal size back and picked up my new clothing size.

I’m not sure if I will get used to being a small size its been a very long time since I’ve been in a smaller size.

I cannot express how emotional I am to be able to get my whole bottom half of Me in a size 14 trousers from a store like new look and know I’ve achieved that outcome from my own determination.

Normally i wouldn’t of been able to get my ankles in a size 14 never mind my whole bottom half of my body.

It’s so difficult to train your own mind after years of negative thoughts about your own body.

It’s affected me both mentally and physically and its also affected my relationships with past partners.

Really knocked my confidence.

But In time I hope I can change my shopping mindset still i can’t believe I’m a completely different person and with the transformation still ongoing I just suppose it will take some getting used to and a whole lot of Selflove.

Today’s purchase #newlook

Love to you all.

Hello everyone.

Hope you are well.

Today I’ve decided to do a product review.

From Aldi’s beauty range…

I absolutely hate the thought of getting old I know it happens to us all but I really don’t want to.

I’m nearly 33 some may say that I’m too young for anti ageing but it’s up to each individual isn’t it.

There’s so many products on the market its very difficult to pick the right one.

I have to say this review is purely based on the more affordable end of the market.

Can be picked up in any of your local aldi supermarket or purchased online.

I purchased both day and night cream in this range purely because I wanted to use combined products that would work together throughout the day and evening.

The facts.

Made with the finest, results driven ingredients this Lacura Q10 Renew Anti-Wrinkle Day and Night Cream Set helps protect skin from premature ageing.

Features:
With a Peptide Complex, Hyaluronic Acid and Coenzyme Q10 (day cream)

With a Retinol Complex, Avocado Oil and Coenzyme Q10 (night cream)

UVA/UVB filter system with SPF20 (in the Day Cream)
Dermatologically tested
Ingredients chosen to rejuvenate with smooth and youthful-looking results.

Each product retails for Β£1.45 for 50ml pot it’s definitely vaule for money.

Here is my review I’ve been using both creams for 3 weeks now.

First of all I absolutely hate creams that make your face feel greasy but with this perticular product its very light on your skin perfect for the skin careΒ  morning routine even if your in a rush it makes a fabulous base for your foundation.Β

It’s perfect for all skin types and great for anyone who is always on the go and needs a quick skin care routine.
That will do the job.

You don’t need a lot or product each time you use either.

It smells nice too.

My skin has improved over the last three weeks it’s become more firmer and my completion has become more even and clearer.

Overall I’m impressed with my purchase from Aldi’s lacura range.

You can purchase from your local store or on the link below πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ”—πŸ”—

Good afternoon all.

I hope your all OK

Today’s post is in relation to my pretty little thing Haul so it’s strictly fashion.

I have three main online retailers that I purchase from one is boohoo, nasty girl and pretty little thing.

My favourite online retailer at the moment is pretty little thing.

One of the most rewarding thing about losing weight is you get to purchase from a normal collection rather than plus size collection.

I find clothes fit me so much better.

I literally get lots of emails regarding discounts, free delivery and online sales.

I have to admit I’m a bit weak when it comes to spending.

To be honest I’ve got a bit of an addiction.

Today’s Haul was another impulse buy.

First item was the Black Strappy Jersey Wrap Tie Waist Jumpsuit

I have a big collection of black clothing it has to be my favourite colour.

It can be dressed down or worn with heels for a night on the town.

And its on sale for… Β£9
Link is below.

https://www.prettylittlething.com/black-strappy-jersey-wrap-tie-waist-jumpsuit.html

My second Haul item is an comfortable lounge set i purchased just for around the home I have to be honest the bottoms fit perfectly but because I really haven’t lost much chest side the top was slightly more reveling that I would of liked but I’m at home so who cares….

This item came with cropped bottoms and top surprisingly they’re both comfortable.

Both retailing at…Β£13

Link below.

Overall I’m happy with my Haul thanks to pretty little thing for great items and quick delivery.

Lots of love.

TLM Foundation Review

Evening all ❀️

Im going to get straight with the program here and go ahead with my blog to give insight on a product that I’ve been asked to review.

I first saw this product advertised on my Facebook account news feed.

I received a few emails regarding this product and what my thoughts were and if i had tried it.

I also had a work colleague who had brought this product and to be honest I was a little skeptical on how the product actually works for every skin tone.

So i went ahead and purchased it for Β£4.95 from ebay making sure it was the real deal beforehand.

You have to be so careful there’s alot of copies out there that contain harmful ingredients.

Always do your research beforehand when buying from other retailers and ebay.

So heres a little bit about the product…

TLM Colour Changing Foundation is a revolutionary new liquid foundation that goes on white and instantly self-adjusts to match your EXACT skin tone.

Our unique color-matching formula protects and moisturizes the skin as it works to even out your complexion.

This foundation contains SPF 15 sun protection to shield your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. It is designed for daily use and will give your skin that illuminating silky finish other foundations just don’t provide.

The exclusive shade-sensing beads are activated by pressure upon application. So, as the makeup is thoroughly blended into the skin, it intuitively transforms to your skin tone for all day, natural-looking color in your perfect shade.

βœ… Waterproof
βœ… Fade-proof
βœ… Totally Transfer-Resistant

So what’s stacie’s verdict???

Im not going to lie i was very skeptical im used to using brand named beauty products.

I find products that suit my skin and i tend to stick to the brands my skin is used too.

But im open to trying new things for my followers.

Overall i was impressed with packaging i could tell it wasn’t a fake product which was a good start.

I have to say its very white when it comes out of the pump action system.

I was absolutely convinced its wasn’t going to blend in with my skin tone but after a few minutes its started to adjust.

It made my skin feel quite firm and it made a very good base for a powdered product.

I would have to say that i wouldn’t use the product if i was going out for a night out i dont feel its a strong enough cover for a long lasting night out.

But its absolutely perfect for natural cover and everyday use but it could be a great base for longer lasting foundation for longer coverage.

The smell is quite pleasant too it actually doesn’t cake on your face either which is great.

I would recommend you use either a beauty blender or a good foundation brush for even coverage.

Im going to give tlm…

π•Žπ•™π•’π•₯’𝕀 π•ͺ𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕨𝕙π•ͺ?

Evening all ❀️

I really hope you are all OK.

Tonight im going to be blogging about questions that I’ve been asked since i started blogging back in april 2019.

Below i will choose six of the most asked questions.

I hope you enjoy getting to know me….

Here we go..

What made you want to blog and what inspired you to share your experiences.

Katie Sunderland. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Well katie it all started back in April 2019

I had just about had enough of everything being messed around by people disrespected by people and i had completely lost myself.

I had spoken to my mum a few months previously about how I’m not able to openly communicate face to face about my feelings and emotions.

I explained how i felt it had been an issue in the past with relationships and friendships.

I really didn’t feel comfortable with telling people around me as i felt that no one cared about what i had to say.

So i did the most scariest thing ever i had taken a deep breath and hit that sign up button for me to start my own blog and i haven’t looked back since.

Second question πŸ™‹

Alot of your blogs are about love and how you deal with heartbreak are you ok now or do you still feel lost in love.

I just want to thank you for helping me also overcome heartbreak.

Beth cornwall. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Ahh love where do i start with this one well yes answer is I’ve had lots of heartbreak in not only relationships but also friendships over the past few years.

The past year has allowed me to really think about what i want from life and the company i keep around me.

Its not been easy dealing with rejection infact its one of the hardest pills to swallow.

But you know I’ve come to the conclusion now that not everything is meant for us however bad we want it.

Its ok I’ve grown and ive learnt to accept it.

I am glad you have taken comfort from my posts.

Third question πŸ™‹

Do you get paid to advertise for companies and do you ever get free products.

Samantha Brixham πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Unfortunately sam i dont get paid if i advertise for a company its normally a local company.

I will advertise and its all done from the goodness of my heart i love to see others do well in life and i also like to help my local town and surrounding areas.

I also support small businesses too because i feel its important to show support to others and help them grow.

I sometimes get the odd free product but mostly i purchase items to review.

Fourth question πŸ™‹

Do you ever think you might be famous like mrs hinch and other bloggers.

Timothy Jersey πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

I have no desire to be famous or popular its not something that’s ever bothered me.

I am quite happy just being me doing what im doing im not after a celebrity lifestyle i just want to be myself and share my experiences with people from all over the world.

Fifth question πŸ™‹

I see your very active on all your social media accounts do you enjoy connecting with others and do you travel much.

Helen Australia πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Thats a very good question i can sometimes post alot more at the weekends.

Due to work and other commitments so i do tend to post alot more on Saturday and Sunday.

I save up all my weekly events untill the evenings or weekends.

I sometimes don’t posts until i have time to sit quietly and focus on my blog posts and its important to me how i connect to my readers.

I did have travel plans but due to current circumstances ive been unable too go ahead and travel.

I’ve been planning a family holiday for two years now but that’s still not happened.

But when the times right it will do.

Until then i have adventures planned with friends towards end of the year fingers crossed that they are ok to go ahead.

Sixth question πŸ™‹

I see that your a very spiritual person are you religious in anyway and do you believe in spirit world and beyond.

Thank you so much for your weekly guidance too i find it very helpful and uplifting.

Holly Manchester πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Holly im a very spiritual person but i don’t follow religion at all.

I believe in what i want to believe in.

And that’s not a criticism to people who do follow faith but its not for me.

I’ve had a lot of spiritual experiences in the past and im also highly intuitive and sensitive to spirit world but apart from that im jusy a normal women with her own beliefs.

Im so glad you find comfort in my guidance blogs.

Im come to the end of my blog and i really hope that you haven’t fell asleep whilst reading.

But i also hope its given you a bit of an insight to my journey as a blogger.

Love to you all 😊 😊

Evening everyone ❀️

I hope you’re all well considering.

This evening i wanted to do a little blog post about supporting small businesses.

This is something i feel really strongly about.
When you support a small bussiness your not only helping their bussiness grow but your supporting someones goals and talents in life.

And with the support of each other we can do great things.

Tonights bussiness is owned by a lovely lady i stumbled across on Instagram i completely fell I love with her gorgeous accessories she makes from home.

I absolutely love the name to.

Sam’s business is not only quirky but also quite eye-catching.

Sams presentation, product and packaging is immaculate.

Shipping time and communication throughout the whole transaction to delivery was very impressive.

What draws me to head band babe and what thrives me to give my support to this lovely lady and her fantastic business is her compassion and her eye for detail.

She’s very down to earth and knows how to connect to people through her work she is truly fabulous and very talented.

Here is a little bit about Samantha and head bands babes journey so far.

I’m Samantha the creator of Head Band Babe.
It all started as an isolation activity to keep my mind healthy during lockdown.

One day I decided to YouTube how to sew a head band. From there I had sewn about a 100 head bands and scrunchies completely by hand.

I used kindly sourced fabrics and repurposed elastic as my aim is to waste less and produce thoughtful products.
I then decided my first goal would be to buy a sewing machine, with the help of wonderful customers, friends and family, I was able to do so.

I have been blown away by all of this, what started from twitching fingers has blossomed into something I’m so very proud of.

I’m just a mum, juggling all the norms and sewing in my free time from my kitchen table whilst family chaos surrounds me.

But if anything this has all taught me I can achieve anything, as long as I go for it!

But, you also just need days in your PJs eating cake, snuggled with your family on the sofa.

Samantha’s passionate she’s determinedΒ  and with a bit of support and a whole lot of spirit i honestly feel head band babe will go far.

Here are my lovely items i purchased from head band babe and i will be purchasing more soon…

By supporting a small bussiness your supporting a dream i ask you to show your support to Samantha and her lovely bussiness head band babe…
